Black clouds surrounded the Vaux castle for miles around, pelting its walls and ceilings with rain, hail, and bolts of lightning that lit up the destructive sky. The storm raged on as a crowd of people entered the massive hall that lay in the center of the castle. There were four of them. Different in race, personality and personality, perhaps, but similar in the pasts that were woven together. For this similar trait, they met here tonight.

As soon as the others found their seats and sat, Rein stood. For once in his life, Rein was still, and silent. Stress mars appeared on his forehead and his eyes were shadowed by sleepless nights. The man who stood before them was anxious and fretful, not at all like the carefree Rein that they were used to. It must be serious.

Rein sighed before beginning, "My friends, I have brought you here together today to discuss a very serious matter, which I'm sure all of you are aware of" he paused. They were all listening intently. "For some time now we have seen our land taken, our people killed, and the dual corruption of governments, both ours, and the humans". The air was thick with silence; no one wanted to interrupt him. "And I for one am sick of it: Sick of this life as an outcast, being inferior, sick of being the pawn of those deemed more important, sick of the whole fucking thing!" Rein slammed his fist down hard on the table, denting the wood beyond repair. He shook with anger, and his eyes glowed with malice.

"What do you intend to do about it?" Luka finally said, breaking the long silence, asking his question carefully and intently.

Rein lingered momentarily, as if looking for the right words to explain himself. "I want to get back at them. All of them. I want to tear down the pillar that they've placed themselves upon. I want to destroy their hopes, their dreams. I want to rip them apart till there's nothing left—", "and here I thought you a man that was far above revenge" Luka interrupted darkly, scowling at Rein.

Rein sighed again and sat back in his seat, twisting his fingers in his hair. "Not just revenge, Luka, I want to build as well. I want to allow our peoples young to have the opportunity that we didn't have. I want to build them up as a symbol. A symbol of power against all that lies in our path; we need to educate our young in the old ways, the way of war and learning so that they might grow and change this dreary thing we call a life.

"If not I fear that this world will descend into darkness from which there is no going back. You all know this. Tell me if you think I'm wrong." Rein looked around at his associates, glancing at each one in turn.

"You want us to help educate them children?" Jonah asked, his voice reaching a high pitch of disbelief. "Precisely. I want to help our young to reach their full potential. The world is collapsing rapidly from the twin racism between our two worlds, and we need their help to stop it." Jonah snickered happily. "Dude that's awesome Mon, I've always like 'lil ones, always a laugh and fun to be around, you know what I be saying?" Jonah, with his Jamaican accent*, bubbled around happily for a while, tossing his pearl back and forth in his hands while Rein eyed the others.

"Vhat about you two?" he asked, with his German accent*, his intuitive and questioning eyes gazing at the other two. Luka chuckled gravely. "I know you're right Rein, and I know something must be done." Luka nodded fiercely. "so if this is the best course of action, so be it, I shall aid any way I can."

Last but not least Dorian was up to the plate, being the only person who had not spoken at all. "Dorian?" Rein asked. "Do you really think this is all possible Rein, that you can take down two of the most powerful governments in the world, and live?" Rein sighed, and smiled slightly, his usual demeanor filtering through his somber mask. "Always so negative. Don't you trust me? Have I not made well on my past promises?", Rein smirked. "Even so, I want to be absolutely sure" Dorian scowled and folded his wings anxiously again for about the hundredth time. "I swear on my life, that I shall not only succeed but I shall flourish, and remake this world anew; by the time I'm done with it everything will be different. Is that good enough for you?" Rein chuckled, removing the hand he had placed on his heart while making his speech and using it to scratch his head.

"I supposed for the time being. But no promises on not killing any of the kids if they piss me off," Dorian muttered, tilting his head to the side in disgust. "YAY! We get to play teachers" Jonah exclaimed, starting to do a little hula dance, his many tentacles joining in. Dorian sighed, but Rein and Luka joined together for a snigger. "It's going to be great Jonah, just wait, if you like it now, you're going to love it later, when the students actually get here." Rein encouraged, patting Jonah in a way that avoided his many tentacles. "And don't worry, we'll be sure to have both fresh and salt water for your students, a lake, and maybe even a pool." Jonah buzzed happily, grabbing an egg from his pouch and stuffing it in his mouth before merrily chewing it. Rein moved to Luka, "And Luka, you'd love it too. We'll have a whole forest dedicated to your teachings, and a giant library with thousands of books to read. Believe me this will be amazing!" Luka beamed in anticipation.

Dorian scoffed, "Just curious Rein, where exactly is this wonderful, amazing school you keep talking about?" his tone was skeptic. Rein laughed nervously, scratching his hair and blushing. "Don't be silly Dorian, we're doing it here!" Rein said jovially, punching Dorian gently in the shoulder. "Here?" Dorian was very quiet. "Of course, I mean you're the only one who has this much space, and I mean you're not using it…." Rein added. No answer. "…We'll talk about it later*. For now, it's time to go get some grub, I'm starving," Rein said, changing the subject to a lighter note and motioning towards the kitchen. "Nom nom nom!" Jonah agreed; Jonah was always hungry. Luka nodded, for he had not eaten since he had arrived.

The three began towards the door when Dorian roared out, "This will not be the end of this Rein, WE ARE NOT HAVING IT HERE!" Rein kept walking and raised his hand in the air, shaking off Dorian's threat. "Whatever you say," he laughed. "Ich werde meinen Weg."
